Sunday School
Sundays at 9:30 AM
At Berean, we believe that just as Timothy "from a child" knew the Holy Scriptures, so our children need to be grounded early, both at home and at church, in the truth of God's Word. We hold our Sunday school teachers present thoughtful lessons filled with biblical truth and presented in an engaging manner that resonates with the children.
Orchestra
Practices Sundays at 3:45 PM
This is a growing ministry of our church as we work toward being ready to not only accompany the congregational singing, but also to minister to the church with special music. We currently have between 10-14 that take part with strings, brass, woodwind, and harp.
Nursery
Any child newborn to age 3 is welcome in the nursery. Our church nursery is often remembered by guests for the extraordinary mural depicting animals and scenery.
Choirs
From 3 years old and up, our church family has the opportunity to participate in a choir, beginning with Children's Choir, progressing to Youth Choir, and then Adult Choir.
The goal of all our music is to glorify God. Consequently, we emphasize carefully selecting, practicing, and singing songs in a thoughtful and accurate manner that keeps the message of the song central.
King's Kids and Childrens Church
On Wednesday night prayer meetings, children age 3 through 6th grade take part in our King's Kids program. With a set curriculum focusing on Bible doctrine and practice, King's Kids is a mixture of songs, Character Stories and puppets. Students learn Biblical principles while earning prizes.
Our Sunday Morning Children's Church is led by the pastor's father and is one-of-a-kind. With an offering, "congregational singing," and a Bible message using object lessons and illustrations, children's church is simply "big church" taught in easier vocabulary, more explanation, and the opportunity to ask questions in class.
Teen Class
Sundays at 9:30 AM
Led by one of our faithful church members, our teen class teaches our young people biblical principles to help them increase in spiritual maturity. Lessons explain how biblical docrtines apply practically in everyday life and give the young people a solid basis for why they believe what they believe.
